Madagascar Arrives in Uyo for AFCON 2027 Qualifier Against Nigeria

The Madagascar national football team has arrived in Uyo for its first 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Nigeria's Super Eagles. A delegation of 28 landed at Victor Attah International Airport at approximately 2:05 p.m. on Monday, cleared immigration, and then went to its hotel. More members of the Malagasy contingent were expected to join the squad today, September 22. Madagascar will meet Nigeria in the Matchday 1 game at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Friday, September 25. Four days later, Corentin Martins' team will play again, welcoming Tanzania's Taifa Stars in its Matchday 2 fixture.
